Temporary Visa
We offer a range of temporary visas that allow you to visit New Zealand for a short-term stay, including for work, study, or tourism purposes. Each visa type has specific conditions that apply, and depending on the intended length of stay, medical and police records may be required. It’s important to note that temporary visas are not meant for long-term or permanent stays and have specific conditions attached to them based on the purpose of the visit.

Visitor Visa
This visa is for when you intend to stay temporarily in New Zealand as a visitor for things such as tourism, business meetings, family visits, or other short-term activities . It is designed for individuals who want to stay in New Zealand for a limited period of time and engage in activities that are not covered by other specific visa categories.
While you are here you need enough money to support yourself and everyone in your application such as your partner and dependent children aged 19 and under. You may also need to meet some requirements around health and character.
During your stay, you can travel and enjoy New Zealand, its culture and friendly people. You can also visit family, enjoy amateur sports or adventure activities. It may be possible for you to remain in New Zealand for up to nine months.
Partner of a Worker Visitor Visa
With this option, you can join your partner while they’re in New Zealand on a work visa. The length of stay is for the same period as your partners work visa. This allows you to join your partner, explore New Zealand. or study for up to 3 months
AEWV (Accredited Employer Work Visa)
The AEWV has replaced six older work visa types and all employers wishing to employ migrant workers on an AEWV must first be accredited INZ.
The new visa process is led by the employer offering the job. The applicants potential employer must complete the employer accreditation and job check before you apply for a work visa. You will need to meet the skills and experience stipulated as part of the job check the employer has completed.
The job must be paid at least the current median wage or more per hour. There are temporary exceptions for specified roles, and for some other roles where shorter visas will be issued. There may be an opportunity for us to help you find a suitable role that fits your skillset for this visa to be an option.
Student Visa
If you are from overseas, you may be able to apply to study full time in New Zealand as an international student. You have to pay the full cost of the course and enrol with an approved education provider. You can enjoy our high-quality teaching standards and gain qualifications that are recognised internationally.
You may also be able to study in New Zealand, at primary, secondary or tertiary level with a student visa. We may be able to assist lodging a visa application whether you are in your home country or when you are in New Zealand as well as assisting you to lodge an application for a further visa.
You may be able to work part-time up to 20 hours a week while studying or full-time in the holidays, depending on your visa conditions. Your Student Visa is normally for the same length of time as the study you’ve paid for.
Options can include international full fee paying or dependent student visas.
Working Holiday Visa
New Zealand has working holiday schemes with many countries that allow people to work and explore New Zealand.
This option is for young people usually aged 18 to 30 with 18 to 35 in a select few other countries. This visa lets you travel and work in New Zealand for up to 12 or 23 months if you are from the UK or Canada.
You will usually receive an open work visa so you can work for any employer, with some conditions. You need to have enough money to pay for a return ticket and becoming mainly to holiday, with work being a secondary intention.
Partnership Visa
Partner of a New Zealander
A work visa will allow you to join your partner in New Zealand. You’ll be able to get a job, and in your free time, enjoy New Zealand’s scenery, adventure, culture and friendly people.
You can stay for 2 years if you’ve been living with your partner for more than 12 months, or 1 year, if you’ve been living with your partner for less than 12 months. You can also join your New Zealand citizen or resident partner and enjoy New Zealand’s scenery, culture, and friendly people applying for a partner of a New Zealander Visitors Visa.
Partner of a Worker Work Visa
This visa will let you work in New Zealand while your partner’s here on a work visa. The length of stay is for the same time as your partners work visa.
Partner of a Student Visa
The visitor visa allows you to join your partner while they study in New Zealand. As a visitor, you can enjoy New Zealand’s scenery, culture, and friendly people.
Dependent Visas
If you have dependent children, you can apply to have them join you in New Zealand.
Dependent children of certain kinds of work and student visa holders can apply for a student visa to allow them to go school while their parents work or study in New Zealand. The children can be treated as domestic students, which means they don’t have to pay tuition fees to go to a primary or secondary school.
If you have a work visa, your dependent children who are 19 and under can join you in New Zealand. While they’re visiting here, they can enjoy New Zealand’s scenery, culture, and friendly people.
